Black Ops 3's official Steam page has been updated with the minimum system requirements to run the game. These are usually revealed before the games release, but with the BO3 beta test coming up in a few months, players need to know if their PC can run the game.
Minimum PC System Requirements:
OS: | Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 64-bit (32-bit not supported)
Processor: | Intel Core i3-530 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom X4 810 2.60 GHz or better.
Memory: | 6GB RAM | |
Graphics: | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 1GB / AMD Radeon HD 6970 1GB or better.
DirectX: | Version 11 |
The requirements are pretty much the same as in Advanced Warfare, but the graphics card needs to be one generation newer. If you were able to play COD: AW lag free, you should have no trouble playing Black Ops 3 on the PC.
Treyarch's Director of Development, "pcdev", also revealed on Twitter to PC gamers that the game will have dedicated servers. It's unknown at this time if they can be rented like in the original Black Ops game. He also confirmed that BO3 will have an adjustable FOV slider.
